Leah starts off the entire book saying that she’s not perfect, she’s done some crappy things in her life and she totally owns up to them, but she’s trying to do the best that she can. Not only does she come off as very genuine, but she is likeable! As you’re reading (or listening in my case) to this book, you realize that she has a never give up sort of attitude and I think that’s how she’s come so far. Leah has had such an interesting life, and you just can’t help but love her. To be frank, this book is a memoir of her life and not all about Scientology, however that was a major part of most of her life, so yes there is a LOT about it in this book. I’ve been really into learning about the cult of Scientology lately and after watching Leah’s expose on A&E, I knew I had to pick up this book. I subscribed to Audible for a month through Amazon and got 2 books for free through the trial. Review of Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology by Leah Remini and Rebecca Paley
